Laura and Brian Ebie, Flute and Organ Recital at the Fayette Opera House

On Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 3:00 p.m., Laura and Brian Ebie are presenting a concert of American Music on Flute and Organ to recognize both Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving.  The concert will be held at the historic Fayette Opera House in Fayette, Ohio.  The concert begins at 3:00 p.m.

The Fayette Opera House is home to a Mason and Hamlin three manual/pedal reed organ which has been meticulously restored by Donald Glasgow and Martin Ellis.  Also included in the Opera House's instrument collection are  a Seybold chapel model reed organ, an Alexander harmonium from 1866, and a grand piano

"The Fayette Opera House has been located in the heart of Fayette since 1889 and continues to be a center for the cultural and education institutions that sets Fayette apart from other communities throughout the region. Since the opening, the Opera House has been through many changes that adds to its historical story and charm.
Today the Opera House's story is greater than all the restoration projects itself. The Opera House became the home of the Fayette Artist Series and Glasgow Reed Organ Series. Also, it houses the senior citizen's nutrition site and has hosted numerous meetings, receptions and weddings."
